Ganesh Himal Trek

15 Days

The trekking region of Ganesh Himal is situated in the central eastern part of Nepal, providing breathtaking views, lesser-known trails away from tourist crowds, and an opportunity to interact with local communities following traditional lifestyles. The mountain range derives its name from Ganesh, the elephant-headed God of Good Fortune and son of Lord Shiva. Visible from the Kathmandu Valley, the Ganesh Himal peaks (Ganesh I, Ganesh II, Ganesh III, Ganesh IV) stand prominently in the “Great Himalayan Chain,” creating a striking skyline. This majestic Himalayan massif is bordered by the Budhi Gandaki valley to the west and the Bhote Koshi River, transforming into Trishuli downstream, to the east. The journey encompasses climbing stairs and rocks, traversing terraces and jungles, crossing suspension bridges over turbulent rivers and canyons, and ascending beyond 4,000 meters through clouds toward snow-capped peaks, offering an unforgettable trekking experience.
