Day – 01 – Kathmandu Arrival and Transfer to Hotel

Arriving in Kathmandu on a clear day is an exhilarating experience, as the breathtaking views of snow-capped mountain peaks unfold below, initiating a cascade of unforgettable moments. Upon arrival, a representative and driver from our office will greet our guests at the airport, providing assistance and escorting them to their designated hotel or resort. The representative will facilitate the check-in process at the hotel and brief the guests about their daily activities. Guests will have the opportunity to explore the local area throughout the day before returning to the hotel or resort for a relaxing night stay in Kathmandu.

Day – 02 – Sightseeing around Kathmandu

The day begins with an early morning breakfast before embarking on a sightseeing tour of several major attractions in Kathmandu. Guests will visit Swoyambhunath, a nearly 2500-year-old site believed to have been settled by the Radiant Lotus when the valley was drained by Manjushri, the god of Wisdom. Next, they will explore Boudhanath, home to the world’s largest stupa representing Tibetan Buddhist culture, and the sacred Pashupatinath temple situated along the Bagmati River, revered as the holiest temple for Hindus dedicated to Lord Shiva and serving as a site for Hindu cremation rites (Please note: Non-Hindus are not allowed inside Pashupatinath temple). In the afternoon, the tour continues with visits to Kathmandu Durbar Square, Hanuman Dhoka, Mahadev and Parvati Temple, Machhender Bahl, and the Temple House of Kumari, the living goddess, in addition to exploring Bhaktapur City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its ancient charm and medieval devotion. Guests will have the evening free to wander through local bazaars before returning to their hotel or resort in Kathmandu for the night.

Day – 03 – Sightseeing tour around Bhaktapur & Patan

The day begins with an early morning breakfast, followed by a visit to Bhaktapur’s Old Durbar Square, renowned for its unique culture and exceptional display of craftsmanship. Bhaktapur stands out as the only place in Nepal that has preserved its authenticity, untouched by Western influence. Notable attractions include the Lion Gate, Golden Gate, Art Gallery, Statue of King Bhupatindra, Nyatapola Temple, and the fifty-five windowed Malla Palace. Next, guests will be driven to Patan to explore its Durbar Square, Mahaboudha Temple, Kumbeshwor Temple, Krishna Temple, Golden Temple, and other sites. Patan serves as an open museum, showcasing intricately carved windows, ornate roof struts, temples designed in pagoda style with erotic carvings, and exquisite metalwork facades. Visitors can also visit a handicraft center in Patan before being driven to their hotel in Nagarkot to witness the spectacular sunset. The night will be spent at a hotel or resort in Nagarkot, concluding a day filled with cultural exploration and natural beauty.

Day – 04 – Nagrakot Sightseeing and drive to Kathmandu

Start your day by witnessing the spectacular sunrise at Nagarkot, renowned for its breathtaking view of the Himalayas. After enjoying the sunrise, return to the hotel for breakfast. Nagarkot is celebrated for its sunrise views of the Himalayas, attracting visitors who often spend a night there. It’s famed for offering one of the best spots to view Mount Everest and other snow-capped peaks of the Himalayan range in eastern Nepal. Additionally, Nagarkot provides an excellent vantage point for the Indrawati river valley to the east. At an elevation of 2195 meters, visitors describe it as a place of enduring beauty throughout the year. With scenic views stretching from Dhaulagiri in the west to Kanchenjunga in the east, on clear days, you can even catch a glimpse of the snow peak of Mount Everest. After experiencing the natural wonders of Nagarkot, drive back to Kathmandu and check in at the hotel. The afternoon and evening are free for guests to shop or relax. The night will be spent at a hotel in Kathmandu, concluding a day filled with natural splendor and relaxation.

Day – 05 – Departure from Kathmandu

Start your day with a breathtaking sunrise viewing at Nagarkot, where you’ll be treated to a panoramic spectacle stretching from Dhaulagiri in the west to Kanchenjunga in the east. Situated at about 7500 feet altitude, Nagarkot offers stunning vistas, and on clear days, you may even catch a glimpse of the tip of Mount Everest. After this unforgettable experience, embark on a scenic drive approximately 35 kilometers to Kathmandu Airport. Depending on your flight timings, you may have the opportunity to visit Thamel or other nearby places of interest en route to the airport. From there, continue your onward journey, filled with the memories of the majestic Himalayan sunrise and the beauty of Nepal’s landscapes.
