Day – 01 – Kathmandu Arrival and Transfer to Hotel
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, guests will be greeted with the breathtaking views of snow-capped mountain peaks as they descend into the valley, setting the stage for an unforgettable journey. A representative and driver from our office will be waiting at the airport to extend a warm welcome and assist guests in reaching their designated hotel or resort. Once at the hotel, guests will be guided through the check-in process by our representative and briefed about their daily activities, allowing them to plan their exploration of the local area. Whether it’s visiting historic sites, exploring vibrant markets, or enjoying the culinary delights of Kathmandu, guests will have a variety of options to choose from. After a day filled with adventure and discovery, guests can retreat to the comfort of their hotel or resort for a relaxing night’s stay in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Drive to Chitwan 5-6 hrs drive
Early in the morning, after enjoying a hearty breakfast, we will bid farewell to Kathmandu and embark on a journey towards Chitwan National Park. Along the way, guests have the option to partake in an exciting whitewater rafting trip, offering a thrilling blend of serene floating and exhilarating rapids. This adventure lasts approximately 3-4 hours, culminating in the charming village of Mugling Bazaar. Following this exhilarating experience, we will resume our drive towards Chitwan National Park. Upon arrival and check-in at the hotel, we will set out for a captivating Tharu village tour, immersing ourselves in the rich culture and traditions of the local community.
Day 3: Explore Chitwan National Park full day
Chitwan National Park, formerly a royal hunting reserve, is nestled in the lowlands of the Terai zone in southern Nepal. Renowned for its rich biodiversity, the park is home to a diverse array of the world’s rarest wild animals and both native and migratory bird species. Our exploration of this natural haven will commence with a captivating bird-watching excursion, allowing us to admire the park’s avian diversity. Following this, we will embark on an unforgettable jungle safari atop elephant back, offering a unique perspective of the park’s lush landscapes and wildlife inhabitants. Additionally, we will partake in a serene canoe ride along the park’s tranquil waterways. As the day draws to a close, we will be treated to a mesmerizing Tharu cultural show, providing insight into the vibrant traditions and heritage of the local Tharu community.
Day 4: Drive to Lumbini, 4 hrs drive
Following a satisfying lunch, our journey continues southward to the plains of Nepal, where we will arrive at Lumbini, the revered birthplace of Lord Buddha. Lumbini’s main draw is its sacred garden, which encompasses the historic Maya Devi Temple and the iconic Ashok Pillar, erected by Emperor Ashoka in 249 BC. These ancient relics stand as testament to the profound significance of Lumbini in the history of Buddhism. Our overnight accommodation awaits us at a hotel in Lumbini, providing a comfortable resting place for our exploration of this sacred site.
Day 5: Drive to Pokhara; 6-7 hrs drive
Early in the morning after having breakfast we will start a scenic drive to Pokhara. Pokhara is situated 200km west of Kathmandu at the altitude of 827m from the sea level. Pokhara is one of the most scenic spots of the country whose beauty is enhanced by the lakes of Phewa, Begnas and Rupa.
Day 6: Drive to Sarankot and back to Pokhara
We’ll rise early to catch the mesmerizing sunrise over the majestic snow-capped Himalayas from Sarankot, nestled at an altitude of 1500 meters above sea level. Here, you’ll have the exhilarating option of paragliding over the picturesque lake city, adding a thrilling dimension to your experience. Returning to our hotel, we’ll indulge in a hearty breakfast before embarking on a city tour, exploring iconic sites such as David’s Fall, the mystical Gupteshwor Cave, and the vibrant Tibetan Refugee Camp. Our day concludes with a comfortable overnight stay at a hotel in Pokhara.
Day 7: Drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara 7-8 hrs
Following breakfast, we’ll embark on a scenic overland journey back to Kathmandu aboard a comfortable coach, a trip that typically takes about six hours. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, we’ll check into our hotel, where you’ll have the evening at your leisure. Whether you opt for some family shopping or simply wish to unwind in the comfort of your hotel room, the choice is yours.
Day 8: Drive to Nagarkot 1 hour drive
We’ll kick off our day with a visit to the majestic Swoyambhunath stupa, nestled atop a hill in the western part of Kathmandu. Affectionately known as the “monkey temple,” this iconic stupa offers breathtaking views of the Kathmandu valley below. Following our exploration here, we’ll journey onward to the medieval city of Bhaktapur, renowned for its rich heritage of medieval art and architecture. The main square boasts a wealth of temples and architectural marvels, including the Lion Gate, the statue of King Bhupatindra Malla, the Golden Gate, the Palace of 55 Windows, the Batsala Temple, and the intriguing Bell of the Barking Dogs. As the day draws to a close, we’ll make our way to Nagarkot, situated 32 kilometers east of Kathmandu at an altitude of 2175 meters. From this vantage point, on a clear day, one can catch a glimpse of the majestic Mt. Everest towering in the distance. We’ll spend the night at a hotel in Nagarkot, soaking in the tranquility and beauty of the surroundings.
Day 9: Drive to Kathmandu
We’ll rise early to witness the breathtaking spectacle of the sunrise painting the Himalayan peaks in hues of fiery red, a sight that stretches from the majestic Kanchanjunga and Everest in the east to the towering Annapurna and Dhawalagiri in the west. After soaking in this mesmerizing view, we’ll indulge in a hearty lunch before embarking on our journey back to Kathmandu. In the afternoon, our explorations continue as we visit the historic Patan Durbar Square, located in the southern part of the city. Here, we’ll be greeted by a plethora of ancient palaces, temples, and shrines, each adorned with intricate and antique carvings that showcase the rich cultural heritage of Nepal.
Day 10: Final departure to your own country
You will be transferred to Tribhuwan International Airport for your onward journey.
