Detail Itenerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon reaching Kathmandu International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in the city. A brief orientation will be provided, covering necessary formalities and outlining your itinerary for the Annapurna Round Trek. Depending on your arrival time, you can either explore nearby sanctuaries or take some time to rest.

Day 02: Sightseeing/Cultural Tour in Kathmandu Valley

Following breakfast, embark on a guided tour of historical and spiritual landmarks in Kathmandu. These include World Heritage Sites such as Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple Pashupati Nath, the renowned ‘Monkey Temple’ (Swayambhunath), and the Buddhist shrine BouddhaNath, one of the largest Stupas globally. Later in the day, participate in a pre-trip discussion to meet your trek leader and team members, and get briefed on the upcoming adventure. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Besi Shahar (830m)

After breakfast, your trekking guide will pick you up at 7 am for a private transfer to Besi Shahar (185km), a journey taking approximately 6 hours. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of white mountains, green hills, rivers, and hamlets. Rest overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 04: Besi Shahar to Bahundanda (1430m)

The first day of trekking introduces you to the diverse cultural elements of Nepal, passing by local houses and exchanging greetings with various ethnic tribes. Traverse subtropical forests and rice terraces to reach Khudi (840m) and witness a majestic 60m high waterfall near Bhulbule. The trail then ascends to Bahundanda, an attractive village on a ridge at 1300m (7 hrs).

Day 05: Bahundanda to Chamje (1410m)

Descend on a steep, slippery trail through rice terraces, passing a small hot spring. The trek involves river crossings, waterfalls, and a 200m climb near Jagat. Reach Chamje after approximately 6 hours.

Day 06: Chamje to Bagarchhap (2160m)

Ascend 940 meters through bamboo and rhododendron forests to Bagarchap, the first village with typical Tibetan architecture. The trek takes around 7 hours.

Day 07: Bagarchhap to Chame (2170m)

Follow the south bank of the river, crossing a suspension bridge, and enjoy views of Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, and Annapurna IV. Reach Chame after a 6-hour trek.

Day 08: Chame to Pisang (3190m)

Pass the older part of Chame, climb to Telekhu, and continue through forests to Brathang. Enjoy the first view of the Paungda Danda rock face before reaching Pisang, marking the beginning of the upper Manang district (5 hrs).

Day 09: Pisang to Manang (3540m)

Trek to the Tibetan-style village of Bryaga and continue through an arid countryside dominated by yellow rock cliffs. Reach Manang, where you can restock on supplies (5 hrs).

Day 10: Manang rest

Spend a restful day in Manang, allowing your body to acclimatize to higher altitudes and thinning air. Use the opportunity to wash clothing.

Day 11: Manang to Letdar (4250)

Trek upwards to Letdar, passing through scrub juniper and alpine grass. The trail offers views of blue sheep grazing steep slopes (4:30 hrs).

Day 12: Letdar to Thorang Phedi(4450m) or Thorang High Camp(4925m)

Ease into the altitude with a trek to Thorang Phedi, a rock-strewn meadow surrounded by cliffs at 4450 meters (3-4 hrs).

Day 13: Thorang Phedi to Muktinath (3800m) via Thorang La Pass (5416m)

Embark on a long trek starting before sunrise to reach Thorang La Pass by 09:00/10:00 am. Enjoy outstanding views and descend to Muktinath (9 hrs).

Day 14: Muktinath to Jomsom (2665m)

Follow the Jomsom trek in reverse, descending through meadows, streams, and fruit orchards to Kagbeni. Continue down the Kali Gandaki gorge to Jomsom.

Day 15: Jomsom to Pokhara

Early morning flight to Pokhara (30 minutes). Spend the day at leisure, perhaps enjoying a massage, sightseeing, or boating in the lake.

Day 16: Pokhara to Kathmandu

Drive for approximately seven hours from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Check into your hotel and unwind. In the evening, enjoy dinner with a cultural show.

Day 17: Final Departure

As the last day of the trip, you will be transferred to the airport for departure.
