Everest Region Trekking

Everest area, positioned at North-East Nepal, gives you the most adventurous and unique trekking experience. It’s a classic Himalayan trek with incredible views that takes you to the location of highest peak in the world, Mount Everest- the major attraction of this trekking. Mount Everest, also known as “Sagarmatha” the Goddess Mother of the world, has long been the magnificent expedition destination. Everest trekking area is inside the Sagarmatha National Park that was established in 1976 and covers 1148 square kilometers. The park comprises rugged terrain, deep gorges, glaciers, huge rocks and densely forested valleys of High Himalayas. Its ranges from 2845 meters (9330 ft) to the peak of Mount Everest, 8848 meters (29028 ft) in altitude. Solukhumbu district, the heartland of Everest Region and enriched with the High Himalayan charisma, is the most satisfying destination to the mountaineers and trekkers.

During this trekking, you will find numerous things to see and wonder about. Apart from the snowcapped mountains, you get to observe the mountain ecosystem, wide variety of flora and fauna in the national park, wonderful geographical topology of Solukhumbu, Tibetian-Buddhist Monastries and social life of the friendly Shrepa people. Most of the members in our crew belong to this Sherpa villages of this region. On every step ahead, we get to experience hospitality, graciousness and simplicity of the people. Though stories of Yeti are considered as myths, people here still believe on its existence.

Moving ahead to KalaPatthar, the views of Everest and other peaks around gets even more enhanced. Gokyo lake and sunrise and sunset views from Gokyo Ri (5300 meters) are some of the major attractions. Cross Chola Pass (5300 meters) and Khumbu Ice fall from Everest Base camp gives the trekkers a lifetime feeling of happiness, success and divinity
